Personal Profile
This website focuses on projects in digital media encompassing 3D animation, 3D computer modeling digital print and digital video.
I have undertaken a number of projects in 3D CGI visualisation and Digital Video.
Based in Skipton North Yorkshire, I trained at Camberwell College of Arts in 3D Design where I achieved an upper second degree. At present I work for Craven College as a lecturer of Art and Design specialising in digital media. I am also currently studying for an MA in Digital Art.
This site is split into two areas:
Design Visualisation: This displays projects I have undertaken relating to visualisation, Illustration, 3D modelling and animation.
Digital Media: This contains mainly personal projects in digital print and Digital film.
The Digital print images are derived from a variety of influences and combination of styles such as western classical architecture, eastern iconography, buddhist Mandalas and historical scientific illustrations to do with symmetry, circular mechanics andcomplexity.
In Digital Film, this body of work investigates notions of digital surfaces and in particular, how the static and mute nature of drawing can be transformed with sound and film. The digital film based work seeks to explore the tension between static and moving ideas through exploiting combinations of three-dimensional modelling and drawn imagery.
